Recording Workshop is a two-day workshop with Justin Leonard from JTL Productions at The Great Burro Studios. Justin will cover everything from pre-production to final mixing and mastering (no previous experience required). We will start by going over the material that we will be working with, followed by a discussion about signal flow and the equipment used in recording. Day one will focus on getting hands-on training in mic selection and placement, as we record each instrument. We will cover editing performances, and post-production of the recorded material, followed by the mix process (day two). Camp will conclude with a discussion on how to finish a recording project and publish the material. This camp is very fun and will prepare you to make the best recordings you can with whatever equipment is available. Come develop your listening, understanding of sound, and intuition for recording that will help you become a great engineer!
